1、 Cleaning
Use organic solvents and solvents to clean the surface of stainless steel plates to remove oil, vegetable oil, dust, lubricants and similar organic compounds, but it cannot remove rust, oxide skin, welding flux, etc. on the surface of stainless steel plates, so it is only used as an auxiliary way in government prevention work.
2、 Pickling passivation
Generally, two methods, organic chemistry and electrolysis, are used for pickling and passivation. For steel pipe anti-corrosion, only organic chemistry pickling and passivation is used, which can remove oxide scales, rust marks, and old coatings. Sometimes, it can be used as a solution after shot blasting and rust removal. Although chemical water treatment can achieve a certain level of cleanliness and surface roughness on the surface, its anchor pattern is shallow and it is very easy to cause environmental pollution to the surrounding environment.
3、 Special tool rust prevention treatment
Key applications include using specialized tools such as steel brushes to polish and polish the surface of stainless steel plates, which can remove loose oxide skin, rust, welding penetration, etc. The rust prevention treatment of manual tools can achieve Sa2 level, and the rust prevention treatment of special tools for driving force can achieve Sa 3 level. If the surface of the stainless steel plate is adhered with strong oxide iron, the actual effect of the rust prevention treatment of special tools is not ideal, and it cannot reach the anchor pattern deep layer specified in the anti-corrosion regulations of fiberglass.
4、 Spray rust prevention treatment
The gushing rust prevention treatment is based on the powerful motor to drive the gushing leaves to run at a high speed, so that steel balls, emery, fine wire segments, minerals and other wear-resistant materials can carry out the gushing solution on the surface of straight seam steel pipes under the powerful centripetal force effect of the motor, which can not only completely eliminate metal oxides, rust and waste, but also under the strong impact and friction effect of wear-resistant materials, It can also achieve the necessary uniform surface roughness.
After spray rust prevention treatment, not only can the physical adsorption effect of the water pipe surface be expanded, but also the adhesion effect of the anti-corrosion layer to the mechanical equipment on the water pipe surface can be improved. Therefore, spray rust prevention treatment is an ideal rust prevention treatment method for steel pipe corrosion prevention. Generally speaking, shot blasting rust prevention treatment is mainly used for metal surface treatment inside water pipes, while sandblasting rust removal is mainly used for metal surface treatment outside straight seam steel pipes.
During the processing process, it is necessary to strictly manage the performance indicators related to rust prevention treatment to avoid damage to the ground of straight seam steel pipes due to incorrect operations. After rust removal, the appearance of straight seam steel pipes is smoother compared to before rust removal. Rust removal of straight seam steel pipes is a commonly used technique in the steel pipe manufacturing industry.
